Song to George (I can’t breathe)

If you go, to Minneapolis, slow your feet

At the corner, of the East, 38th street

You’ll find, many flowers, and a silver balloon

If you can’t, understand, ask the moon

Recently, somebody arrives, in town

An old american, promise, of touch down

He has a small daughter, and the need to work

Blown away, like Eric Garner in New York

Black, Lives, Metter, I can’t breathe

Hey white boy, where you, lost your heart

On May, 25th, there was a man

Treated as, he was, a rusty can

Lying on the ground, with hands, tied to his back

With a blinde, white knee, inside his neck

Mr President, I’d like to talk, to you

A small request, for a good thing, to do

Tomorrow give, to that road, his name

How he was killed, for your country, is a shame

Black, Lives, Metter, I can’t breathe

Hey white boy, where you, lost your love

Black, Lives, Metter, I can’t believe

Being born black, still means death

Now if you go, to Minneapolis, look higher

You’ll see in the sky, a sentence, engraved, with fire

Here, by four officers, unfairly was killed

A gentle giant, named, George

George Floyd

Black, Lives, Metter, I can’t breathe

Hey white boy, where you, lost your heart
